WUBE-FM (Cincinnati’s Country … B-105) received a phone call from Luke Combs this morning, who informed The Big Dave Show that they won their second Country Music Association’s Personality of the Year Award – Large Market Category.
The Big Dave Show—the station’s morning show featuring Big Dave, Chelsie, Statt and Ashley—won the award in 2016 and was nominated in 2015.
Touted as “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” the 54th Annual CMA Awards Show will be broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Organizers remain committed to delivering the most entertaining and memorable live television experience possible, while also navigating a number of required changes, as outlined by local health authorities and CDC guidelines.
The CMA Broadcast Awards are among the most prestigious awards given out in the field of Country Radio. The judging process involves more than 40 distinguished broadcasting professionals, who represent all market sizes and regions of the United States.
Judging was based on the overall sound of the station and show; community participation; ratings; participation in local and national country events and organizations; and awards or accolades received during the eligibility period.
“This is exciting news for The Big Dave Show,” said Mike Fredrick, Vice President / Market Manager of Hubbard Cincinnati. “Their hard work, passion for creating great content and dedication to the community shines through to our listening audience. So proud of them to bring this award home. Congratulations!”
“I am so proud of The Big Dave Show!” added Patti Marshall, Operations Manager of Hubbard Cincinnati. “This award represents the passion they all have for country music, our community and our listeners.”
