Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Wed in Las Vegas

People: “It was super, super small. [Jennifer’s] mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married.”  Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck opted for a low-key Las Vegas wedding at the world famous A Little White Wedding Chapel over the weekend. It was at the Little White Wedding Chapel that Die Hard actor Bruce Willis, 67, married actress Demi Moore, 59, on November 21, 1987.  The chapel – established in the 1950s – has married about 800,000 couples, and has been the chosen venue for many quick celebrity weddings. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner (2019) were married there also.

Jennifer Lopez just posted a massive dump of photos and video from her surprise wedding to Ben Affleck — showing herself in her dress, and Ben in his tux.Check out the pictures here — OnTheJLo — Jen wrote, “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
She goes on to say “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

Jen explains that they barely made it to the wedding chapel in time before it closed up, and while they wanted Elvis to officiate … he was unavailable. They moved forward anyway.
“They were right when they said, “all you need is love”. We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to.” Jennifer finishes with … “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.”

Would You Like To Buy Colonel Sanders’ House?

Are you interested in owning three acres of real estate containing the Sanders’ former home, the Claudia Sanders Dinner House, along with the rights to the Claudia Sanders name and a list of Colonel Sanders’ memorabilia?

If you have pockets deep enough to cover the undisclosed, not small sale price, all of that can be yours. A massive piece of Shelbyville, Kentucky property purchased by Colonel Harland Sanders and his wife Claudia in 1959 has been put up for sale. Included on the site is Blackwood Hall, a 5,000-square-foot residence that was home to the Colonel until his death and was owned by Claudia until 1984.

Plus, beyond the house itself, the sale also includes historical items such as “Colonel Sanders original Kentucky Colonel certificate, a Happy Birthday letter from President Nixon, recipes in Colonel Sanders’ handwriting, Colonel Sanders’ Monogrammed Bible, money clip, wristwatch, and many more.”

But the right buyer will have a lot more responsibility than lounging in Colonel Sanders’ living room. A key component of the listing is the Claudia Sanders Dinner House — a 25,000-square-foot restaurant and banquet hall which brings in over 100,000 guests per year

The sitdown restaurant serving a spin on southern classics (like fried chicken, of course) was originally created by Colonel Sanders as a tribute to his wife and has been run by the Settles family since the 1970s. But now the Settles are looking to retire, so not only is the restaurant up for sale, but also ownership of all its trademarks including the name, image, and likeness of Claudia Sanders and Claudia Sanders Dinner House.

“The restaurant has only been owned by the Sanders and their close friends, the Settles,” Morgan Hancock, a listing agent on the property, stated. “The Settles are now committed to finding the next caretaker of this historic brand that will not only fight to maintain its legacy, employees, and staple dishes here in this community, but potentially expand the Claudia Sanders brand nationwide.”

And so, simply being a rich fanboy is probably not enough to score you this historic KFC property. However, if you think you have what it takes to expand Claudia Sanders’ brand and create your own Colonel Sanders-esque restaurateur success story, the estate sale is being handled by Six Degrees Real Estate.

Munich Pub will Trade you Beer for Scarce Cooking Oil

Russia and Ukraine account for about 80% of sunflower cooking oil, so it has become very scarce in Europe and is rationed for families in grocery stores. Speaking through a translator, Eric Hoffman, who manages a brewpub in Munich, Germany said he’s afraid of not having enough oil to cook their famous schnitzel so they are offering customers a liter of beer for every liter of cooking oil they bring in.  A liter of beer costs the equivalent of $7 in a pub while a liter of cooking oil retails for about $4.50, making the trade tempting for many of his customers.

Zach Wilson Jerseys Selling Amidst Ex-GF’s Accusation About Mom’s Best Friend

As the rumor reached its peak, interest in Zach Wilson’s jersey skyrocketed.

When you look at Google Trends over the course of the last week (July 8th through 15th), interest in Zach Wilson jerseys went from almost nothing to a lot. Interest in the jersey was especially high in Utah and New Jersey — Wilson is from Utah and plays for the Jets — as well as Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

A graphic from betonline.ag shows the significant spike in traffic.  There is no way to tell if any of the people who searched for the jersey actually purchased the jersey. But with that being said, it seems like there may be a lot more No. 2 Jets jerseys being worn this year, even if it has nothing to do with fandom or football.

Cam Smith Gives Hilarious Response On How He Plans To Celebrate His Open Win

The PGA star pulled off an improbable comeback on Sunday to overtake Cameron Young and Rory McIlroy and land the Claret Jug at St. Andrews. And he intends to put that trophy to use.

Smith was asked about his post-tournament plans following the big win, and he gave an all-time response. I’m definitely going to find out how many beers fit in this thing [the Claret Jug].”

Cam Smith said he’s going to drink upwards of 40 beers after the “unreal” performance. Smith estimates that the winning trophy holds two beers, saying he’ll have about 20 Claret Jugs as a nightcap to celebrate the big win. “I’ll probably have about 20 Claret Jugs.” 40 beers, Alright!
