This Is Not A Way To Get A Movie Role From Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry scolded a New York actress after she took out ads on two billboards to ask him for a role in a TV show or movie. Racquel Bailey, who had a small role in HBO’s The Night Of in 2016, put her face on two billboards in Perry’s hometown of Atlanta and addressed a message to him. “Attention Mr. Perry, Racquel Bailey is your next leading lady,” the signs read. Perry responded to the stunt in a Facebook post, writing that it is not the first time someone has done this — and it’s not the way to get his attention. “If you’re looking for a role in one of my shows. Please DON’T DO THIS, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!” he wrote in the post.
