Covington to waive late fees, penalties for parking tickets during month of June
The city of Covington is offering a way to pay your parking fee without having to pay for any penalties accumulated. People can pay their tickets online or go to the ABM office at 501 Scott Blvd., across from the Kenton County Public Library. If your car was towed, those fees will still need to be paid. For example, if you had a $30 ticket that doubled to $60 due to late fees, the extra $30 that will be forgiven under the amnesty program. The city has authorized a private contractor to start booting and towing cars of drivers that have three or more unpaid tickets. Those who pay the original fine will be able to ignore any penalties on the ticket and the risk of having your car booted or towed, the city says. The officer is valid only during the month of June.
Man Sets New Guinness World Record After Eating 3 Carolina Reaper Peppers In 8.7 Seconds, But He Ate 6!
Gregory Foster of the USA is officially in the Guinness World Records book after they certified his brutal competitive eating world record. The feat was accomplished back in December but there’s typically a delay between record-setting attempts and certification.
By far the most insane detail of Gregory Foster’s new world record for eating 3 Carolina Reaper peppers faster than anyone in history is that he actually ate SIX. According to GWR, his first attempt was disqualified because there was still ‘pepper matter’ in his mouth after chewing and swallowing all three. He wasted no time before his second attempt but Gregory told GWR he was “already feeling the effects of the first round of peppers consumed” when he started eating peppers 4, 5, and 6.

The company says the new vehicle will be able to reach 60mph in about 2.99 seconds or 88mph in 4.35 seconds, with a top speed of 155mph. Additionally, Alpha 5 will come with a 100kWh battery, which will cover a range of more than 300 miles on a full charge. The car’s official reveal will be at the 71st Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, California, on August 18, but it might not be available to consumers until next year or later.
