Robert Pattinson to Play ‘The Batman’
Sources tell Variety that Robert Pattinson is in negotiations to play “The Batman” in Matt Reeves’ forthcoming superhero film, which hits theaters June 25, 2021. Pre-production on the Warner Bros.-DC Comics pic is expected to start this summer. Reeves, the filmmaker behind the last two “Planet of the Apes” sequels, assumed “Batman” directing duties from Ben Affleck in January 2017 and has been developing the elusive project ever since.

The ‘Saw’ Franchise Is Getting A Reboot Courtesy Of Chris Rock?
Chris Rock – will try his hand at the horror genre with the next Saw movie. Lionsgate announced that the franchise will be revived with a new idea from Rock set to hit theaters in October of 2020. “I’ve been a fan of Saw since the first film in 2004. I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place,” Rock said in a statement. He will serve as an executive producer on the film while franchise director Darren Lynn Bousman returns to his role. The last Saw movie, titled Jigsaw, came out in 2017 and was the eighth movie in the franchise.
Lauren Hill to be inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday
Lauren’s mother Lisa Hill said. “For her to be inducted as a Mount player would have made her so happy. She just loved it there.”
“What Lauren did was take a disease that few people have ever really heard of, besides those who have to go through it, and put it out there, in front of the entire country,” Lauren’s father Brent Hill said. “It would make her so happy there are still people who not only remember her and her story, but also that this amazing fundraising and research is continuing in her name.”
The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame 14th Annual Induction Ceremony will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Columbus June 8th.
Ex-Terry’s Turf Club neon signs up for auction
Mecum Auctions, which specializes in collector cars, vintage motorcycles and road art, is auctioning off dozens of neon signs that once graced the outer walls of Terry’s Turf Club in Linwood.
The auction is running through May 19 in Indianapolis, but buyers can also bid online. Mecum has posted videos of some of the available signs in action:
Hundreds Of Thousands Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans Are Petitioning HBO To Remake The Underwhelming Final Season
A petition to call on HBO to remake the eighth and the final season of “Game of Thrones” with new writers has surpassed a quarter of a million signatures.
The online petition was launched last Thursday, but gained traction on Wednesday when it went from 15,000 signatures to more than 250,000 in less than 24 hours. Click here if you want to sign it.
