Robert Pattinson Returning for ‘The Batman’ Sequel

“The Batman” is getting a sequel, with Robert Pattinson set to return as Gotham’s fiercest defender.

Warner Bros. revealed its plans for another Caped Crusader story during its Tuesday evening presentation at CinemaCon, the annual trade show for theater owners. “The Batman” director Matt Reeves was on hand to announce the news that he will write and direct the follow-up, but he did not provide any details about what the movie will entail.

“The Batman,” a dark three-hour superhero adventure, debuted on the big screen in March, With $759 million to date at the global box office, The Batman” is currently the highest grossing movie of the year.

Mom Recycles Millions of Restaurant Crayons into Classrooms

In 2009, California mom Sheila Morovati started a successful campaign to divert used crayons that restaurants give children to schools in need of art supplies. Her non-profit Crayon Collection now operates in all 50 states and nine countries and has redirected more than 20 million crayons from the landfill.  Click here to request a box to donate crayons in.

Dorothy’s Dress FOUND, ‘Wizard of Oz’

The blue and white gingham dress Judy Garland wore as Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” was was missing for decades before it was found hidden among faculty mailboxes at a university in the nation’s capital. The renowned costume, one of only two in existence that is complete, was gifted to the Catholic University of America in 1973, but it vanished soon thereafter, becoming a legend at the school. Last year, when the theater department underwent renovations, an employee happened across the legendary outfit laying in a garment bag on top of the mailboxes. Now it is set to be auctioned, and is expected to fetch somewhere around $1 million.

The E-Ray as people are calling it, could be the most powerful model. In a tweet showcasing our first look at the new C8 Corvette Hybrid undergoing winter, cold-weather testing, Chevy confirmed that an “electrified Corvette” – which is likely the hybrid – will be available “as early as next year” – as in 2023

In addition, we also announced today Ultium Platform’s energy recovery system, a patented onboard system that takes the heat generated by EV batteries and uses it to warm the cabin, create more efficient charging conditions, and even increase vehicle acceleration. And it can boost the vehicle’s range by about 10%.

Male Contraceptive Pill Could Enter Human Trials In Two Months

Inventors say, after study on mice showed it could prevent 99% of pregnancies.  A potential male birth control pill is expected to enter clinical trials as early as this summer after finding success in tests on mice.  University of Minnesota researchers found that the drug was 99% effective at preventing pregnancy.  They also found that the effects of the drug were temporary, with mice that used it able to regain fertility weeks later.  Experts believe that the world is still relatively far off from achieving a male birth control pill similar to ones available to women.

Live Music Returns to Kings Island in 2022

The 2022 Kings Island Concert Series at Timberwolf Amphitheatre presented by Platform Beer Company marks the most summer concerts at Timberwolf since 1995.  For the first time, Kings Island will not require concert goers to also purchase admission to the amusement park. Concert tickets will be available to the general public and will include free parking after 5 p.m. and an exclusive entrance to Timberwolf before each show begins.
