Patriots Sending Rob Gronkowski To The Bucs For A 4th-Round Pick

Rob Gronkowski – is set to come out of retirement in conjunction with a trade that will send him from New England to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs, of course, signed Brady in March. Brady likely pushed for the trade, as he and the tight end are friends from their 9 seasons together in NE, where they won 3 Super Bowls. Gronk has already passed his physical, and the deal could be announced today. The Patriots agreed to send Gronkowski and a seventh-round draft pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for a fourth-round pick. News of the proposed trade — and Gronkowski’s impending return — came a little more than 48 hours before the start of this year’s NFL draft, which is slated to begin tomorrow night.
