Joe Burrow Wins Comeback Player of the Year
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had to rehab before he could walk, and walk before he could make his unexpected run to Super Bowl LVI. That run now includes another achievement: 2021 AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Burrow was named the recipient of the award during NFL Honors on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Ja’Marr Chase Wins Offensive Rookie of the Year
Chase was named the 2021 NFL AP Offensive Rookie of the Year on Thursday during NFL Honors. Chase became the first wide receiver to take the OROY award since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert won it last year.
Mike Myers Teases the Possibility of Another ‘Austin Powers’ Movie
“I can neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of such a program, should it exist or not exist,” Mike Myers joked on TODAY.
Rumors have been circulating for a while now that a fourth “Austin Powers” movie is in the works, and Mike Myers says he would jump at the chance to bring the infamous spy (and Dr. Evil) back to the big screen.
“I would love to do one. Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Myers, 58, said during a recent visit to TODAY, when Al Roker asked about the possibility of another “Austin Powers” flick.
International Testing Agency confirms teenage Russian skating star Kamila Valieva FAILED her drugs test before winning gold in Beijing
Russian doping agency cleared her but IOC has now filed an appeal. The International Testing Agency confirmed Kamila Valieva, 15, had tested positive for a doping chemical ahead of her gold medal win on Monday. The ITA said the skating star failed a drug test at the Russian Figure Skating Championships in Saint Petersburg on Christmas. Russia suspended the skater, but after she filed an appeal, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency decided to lift her suspension. The ITA and International Olympic Committee have contested the decision ahead of Valieva’s next event on February 15. Valieva was part of the ROC team that won gold at the Winter Olympics on Monday, beating the US and Japan to the win in the figure skating team event

On his final run, he had to do better than his best. On his second trick, a cab double cork 1440, he wasn’t quite able to stick the landing, and crashed.
“It was harsh to fall in that run and not just nail it and pop onto the podium there,” he said. “I was so close.”
He still finished 4th and will be known as the innovator and G>O>A>T> of snowboarding.
