Bengals & NFL Donate $250,000 To Harrison High School For Stadium Renovation

A boost from the Bengals means Harrison High School’s football stadium is getting major upgrades. The team along with the NFL is pitching in $250,000 to the school’s stadium renovation project. That means a new, synthetic turf field, new bathrooms and concessions and a new scoreboard. The school was raising money by teaming up with gas stations. Two cents of every gallon of gas purchased at certain BP stations is being donated to the stadium fund.  Construction is expected to start this summer.

‘Friends’ Reunion Special A “Maybe” On HBO Max As Parties Can’t Reach Agreement

After years of mini reunions on TV and a selfie that almost broke Instagram, the Friends cast several months ago started conversations for a full-blown unscripted reunion special on the upcoming streaming platform HBO Max. The negotiations had recently come to a standstill.  The cast and producing studio Warner Bros. TV are far apart on money. Because of the impasse and the big, eight-figure gap between what the cast is seeking money-wise and what the studio is willing to pay.  It might not happen.  And a reboot? No. “It’s not going to beat what we did,” Kauffman said.  Crane added, “We did the show we wanted to do. We got it right, and we put a bow on it.”

Good Boy Evan! St. Xavier Welcomes Facility Dog For Therapy

St. Xavier has added Evan, a two-year-old golden retriever for therapy.  Evan has gone through extensive training to become a therapy dog.

“He is so focused on going where there is someone in need. He has a crazy sixth sense and is incredible in his empathy for those in need. He seems to absorb what is needed from each person he interacts with,” a representative from Circle Tail said of Evan.

Even though he’s only been at the school for a few days, Assistant Principal Jason Ahlers says he’s already made a difference.

“There’s so much stress, so much anxiety and we want to do anything we can do to help our students and let them know we care about them,”
