Bonnaroo Announces 2022 Lineup, Stevie Nicks First-Ever Female Headliner
Stevie Nicks is back and she’s headlining Bonnaroo, becoming the first-ever woman to do so.
The music and arts festival — slated for June 16-19, 2022 in Manchester, Tennessee — will feature a performance by Nicks on the final day of the weekend.
Nicks’ return to the large festival stage comes after she lamented the loss of her “youthful years” to COVID-19.
In 2020, she was cooped up in her home due to the pandemic, scared it was “stealing” her “last youthful years.”
“I don’t have just 10 years to hang around and wait for this thing to go away,” Nicks told the Associated Press. “I have places to go, people to sing for, another album to make.”
Nicks will preform at the festival with a slew of other big-name artists that span various genres.
Machine Gun Kelly, Roddy Rich, 21 Savage and J. Cole are amongst the hip-hop and pop artists playing, while top DJs Flume and Illenium are also scheduled to perform.
Other smaller alternative indie artists, like Still Woozy, Role Model and Wallows, will be attending the concert series as well.

Magawa, heroic medal-of-honor winning bomb-sniffing rat, dies at age 8
A hero rat named Magawa, who sniffed out bombs and saved countless lives, has died at 8 years old. In 2020, the rodent received a medal of honor for his mine-clearing work in Cambodia during the past five years, in which he helped locate over 100 landmines and other explosives for deactivation. The African giant pouched rat “passed away peacefully” over the weekend, according to Belgian mine-clearing nonprofit Apopo, which cared for Magawa — their most successful rodent trainee yet. Magawa’s “amazing sense of smell” allowed “communities in Cambodia to live, work, and play; without fear of losing life or limb,” they wrote in a statement. He could survey an area the size of a tennis court in just 20 minutes. Magawa — a nearly two-and-a-half-foot, two-and-a-half-pound rat — had been in good health and “spent most of last week playing with his usual enthusiasm,” they explained. But last weekend, “he started to slow down, napping more and showing less interest in food in his last days.”
Two florida women face felony charges for 3 am glitter attack on man
Two Florida women are facing felony burglary charges over a 3 AM glitter attack on a male victim. Sarah Franks, 29, and Kaitlin O’Donovan, 27, arrived early Monday at the Clearwater residence of Jacob Colon and began arguing with him while he was standing on his fenced balcony. The women each threw a container of glitter at Colon, who was struck “in the upper torso and head.” Franks then climbed over the ground level fence and entered Colon’s apartment, where she “engaged the victim again by throwing more containers of glitter at him,” cops charge. Franks then unlocked the front door to allow O’Donovan inside. They then threw additional containers of glitter at Colon, and Franks kicked a window until it broke. The pair then drove away, but police arrested them about an hour later. Franks and O’Donovan were arrested on a felony charge of burglary with assault or battery. Franks was also charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking Colon’s window. Both were ordered to stay away from Colon.
