Darren Harrison was going to visit his pregnant wife. He was a passenger on a CESSNA 208 plane that left the Bahamas and the pilot passed out.

When the pilot became “incapacitated.” The passenger took over the controls and radioed for help.

Air Traffic Controller Robert Morgan, a certified flight instructor, was on a break when the call came in. He rushed to the tower.

Harrison, without any experience flying a plane, successfully landed the plane at Palm Beach International Airport.

Morgan said he met the passenger on the tarmac and they hugged it out.

No word on the pilot’s condition.
