Passenger with No Experience Landed Plane After Pilot Passed Out – Here’s What’s Snappenin’

Darren Harrison was going to visit his pregnant wife. He was a passenger on a CESSNA 208 plane that left the Bahamas Tuesday morning.
when the pilot became “incapacitated.” The passenger took over the controls and radioed for help.
Air Traffic Controller Robert Morgan, a certified flight instructor, was on a break when the call came in. He rushed to the tower.
Harrison, without any experience flying a plane, successfully landed the plane at Palm Beach International Airport.
Morgan said he met the passenger on the tarmac and they hugged it out.
No word on the pilot’s condition.
I would like to suggest a name for Darren’s baby, Landon!
