POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Associate is a beginning level assembler for the newly developed CTL production US assembly line and is responsible for maintaining daily production requirements in the manufacturing plant with day to day guidance by a Lead Associate. The associate will be assigned to perform physical assembly of CTL gearboxes according to specific work instructions and/or various Quality Inspection duties.
The associate must work in team environment and be a self-motivator with high integrity and meet Bonfiglioli Quality standards in production and have a keen eye for detail. The associate will be a part of a crew of skilled associates assigned to a different work station as production needs require and a member of a group of assembly operators that assemble or process sometimes repetitive tasks involving usage of hands and/or tools and pass the unit on to another associate. The associate must be disciplined with maintaining timeliness, highly safety conscientious work methods, and ability to maintain consistent production hourly through put requirements. Previous Experience working with or on a semi-automatic, PLC controlled, fast paced production line preferred.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Fulfill general production requirements through direction of Production Lead Associate and/or Scheduler by maintaining safety, quality and production cycle time requirements in that order
2. Assemble products to the appropriate Bonfiglioli Standards of Quality
3. Utilize and adhere to existing policies and procedures per Bonfiglioli handbook
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Above average mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity with hand and power tool use knowledge
• Basic reading, writing and math skills; high school diploma or equivalent; trade school acceptable
• Ability to handle and lift 50 pounds maximum; bending and stretching and repetitive motion
• Adherence to safety regulations within the workplace
• Maintain acceptable attendance record and promptness to work and within assigned work station; reliable, strong work ethic
• Occasional spontaneous overtime required to support production requirements
• Ability to respond to constructive criticism and direction in a positive manner; open minded, willing to learn and listen
• Basic knowledge of computer usage

Receiving Associate
1st Shift (7:00 AM- 3:30 PM) Available
Overview:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting with maintaining production needs in the manufacturing plant. The associate may be assigned to numerous roles in the facility including physical picking and pulling material for assembly builders, various quality inspection duties, verify and direct all inbound shipments and product, confirm quantities and condition of product, and record received product in computer system and/or through an RF device. The associate must work in team environment, be a self-motivator with high integrity, and meet required Quality standards in production. The associate must be familiar with safely operating various types of material handling equipment. The associate must be diligent with filling out clear and concise information on paperwork and Quality records.
Principle Accountabilities:
• Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measures of items from incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists or other records
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments
• Rejects damaged items and records shortages where applicable
• Addresses damages or shortages to the Manager for proper routing
• May operate fork truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from one staging area to another location
• May receive damaged or defective goods returned to establishment
• Stage goods for stocking by warehouse zones
• Handling paperwork involved in order receipts and may use hand-held scanners to read bar codes on incoming products or by hand-entering this information into computers
• Fulfill general production requirements through direction of Inventory Control Supervisor by maintaining various needs in the manufacturing plant.
• Efficiently process orders in timely fashion with attention to detail in regards to parts pulling and allocation
• Perform other related duties as required
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Basic Understanding of blueprints reading is preferred
• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of operating forklift truck
• Computer experience preferred
Competencies:
• Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects
• Highly motivated & energetic with a strong work ethic
• Ability to handle and lift 50 pounds maximum; bending and stretching
• Ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple deadlines
