Zachary Levi is now a married man.
The 33-year-old actor and his new wife Missy Peregrym announced on Twitter Monday they have officially tied the knot.
The 31-year-old Canadian actress initiated the news by sending her husband a sweet tweet that featured a picture of the couple wearing matching “Mr” and “Mrs” hoodies.
“That coffee date was UNREAL @zacharylevi #marriedinmaui.” Missy wrote to Zachary.
He then retweeted the hoody picture, writing in the caption: “These dreams and goals are really workin out.”
Zachary’s good friend, Avatar actor Joel David Moore, sent his praise to the new couple.
He also thanked them for finally coming clean about their union.
“Congrats to @ZacharyLevi and @mperegrym on their stunning wedding and beautiful future. Couldn’t be happier for my brother & my new sis pal,” Joel tweeted. “Furthermore, I’m exhausted and terrible with secrets. So from all the boys, thanks for lifting the veil. #punintended.”
Apparently no one who is close to Zachary and Missy are surprised by news they have married.
It is claimed most everyone in their inner circle expected them to get hitched.
“He’s said she’s the one,” a source told Us Weekly. “[Maui] has meaning for them.”
Zachary has a lot to celebrate currently, as he has also accomplished a few major professional feats in the past year. He starred in Marvel blockbuster Thor: The Dark World and being a part of that feature was literally a dream come true for him.
“[Filming Thor 2 was] amazing. I grew up a big comic book fan. There’s a certain amount of bucket list things in my life as an actor – one of those things being a comic book movie – and I get to check that off and I got to work with incredibly talented people like that cast,” he explained to Entertainment Tonight previously.
