Will Poulter has joked that winning a BAFTA was better than kissing Jennifer Aniston.
The British actor took home the EE Rising Star Award at this year’s ceremony, beating George Mackay, Lupita Nyong’o, Léa Seydoux and Dane Dehaan.
He also locked lips with Jennifer in comedy hit We’re the Millers, but has revealed that picking up the prize was a bigger moment for him.
“That kiss was a very awkward and clumsy moment,” he laughed to Cover Media when asked which was better.
“I felt guilty about it, I felt very sorry for Jen during that ordeal, so I think probably winning the BAFTA.”
We’re the Millers follows Jason Sudeikis as a pot dealer, who tries to struggle the drug into Mexico with the help of a fake family.
It was an instant comedy classic, but 21-year-old Will isn’t sure there will be a follow-up.
“I’m not sure, I’m not one to comment… but I’m sure there will be talk of it,” he said.
Yesterday Will attended the London premiere of Starred Up in support of fellow Brit Jack O’Connell.
Jack, who rose to fame in UK TV show Skins, has got a packed work schedule at the moment and also stars in Angelina Jolie’s latest directorial effort Unbroken.
Will hopes the 23-year-old is in the running for the EE Rising Star Award in 2015.
“I hope Mr O’Connell will be up for it next year,” he smiled.
“I’m very grateful [to have won], it was a very strange couple of weeks.”
