Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are not selling their Malibu home.
Celebrity real estate website Realestalker.com previously reported the couple were putting their house on the market after having lived in it for only two years.
But a representative for Will, 44, and Jada, 41, has denied the house is being sold.
“This is false. Their home is not on the market,” publicist Karynne Tencer told New York Daily News.
The sprawling 25,000 square foot house took over four years to build. The property, which sits on seven acres of land, includes a professional recording studio, screening room, retractable skylight in the double-height living room and views of a man-made lake.
In 2011, Will told Architectural Digest that the house’s circular floor plan was meant to “create an infinite cycle that represented what Jada and I hoped for our love”.
Aside from the Malibu estate, Will and Jada also own a three acre property in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and a $3.4million estate in Los Angeles, where they lived while designing and building their Malibu home.
Will and Jada have two children, Jaden, 15, and Willow, 12.
Speculation about the state of Will and Jada’s 16-year marriage has been rife for some time now. The actress added fuel to the flames when she told the Huffington Post that the key to her happy relationship is letting Will do whatever he wants.
This led people to believe the couple had an open relationship, and Jada was forced to clarify her statement via Facebook.
“Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one, (sic)” she wrote.
But Jada has also made it clear she has no intention of leaving Will, no matter what happens.
“What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can’t think of one. I’m sorry,” she told Redbook magazine.
“Except if he did something bad to the kids – now we’ve got a problem. I have been affected by gossip and I know people who have been too. I’ve seen marriages destroyed by gossip. It is cruel.”
