Weight A Minute: Monday Meals

Weight: Down 112 pounds (!!!)

Here’s a walk through everything I’m eating today. Right now I’m hovering around 1,800 calories a day and I’m doing some carb cycling. Basically, trying to figure out how my body is reacting to carbs…and finding the right combination for success. I was plateaued for week, then went carb free the past 4 days and lost 3 pounds. So now I’ll sporadically add in different carbs at different times of day and see how my body reacts.

Today:

Breakfast:

1/2 cup oatmeal (not pictured)

2 scoops protein powder with water, 1 cup spinach, 2 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter

 

After gym snack:

1 scoop of protein powder with water

Small avocado

 

Lunch:

7 oz grilled chicken

1 cup steamed broccoli

1 Honeycrisp apple

2 Melba toasts

 

Afternoon snack:

1 cup cottage cheese

1 peel-on cucumber

 

Dinner:

7oz baked cod

1 cup asparagus

1 cup raspberries

2 Melba toasts

 

Night snack:

One tablespoon of homemade raw almond butter

Also…I hit my mini goal of being down 110 pounds! Actually surpassed it with being down 112! To celebrate here’s my gym selfie this morning in my awesome Carrie Underwood Calia workout shirt…so cute!
