Uma Thurman was overhead poking fun at Matthew McConaughey’s accent during the Golden Globes.
Matthew won the Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama award at Sunday night’s ceremony for his role in Dallas Buyer’s Club.
And while the Texan was on stage giving his acceptance speech, fellow actress Uma Thurman was overhead impersonating him.
“He is such a hambone!” Um laughed, reported Page Six.
“Lemme get in a van with mah bebay,” she drawled in an exaggerated accent.
The Boston native was cracking jokes on a terrace while watching the show on a monitor when Matthew accepted the honor.
However Page Six reports that she also said Matthew had “won me over.”
Matthew gave one of the best acceptance speeches of the night, honoring his mother Mary for her life advice.
“A time like this, makes me want to say thank you to my mother for a real reason: When we were growing up, we weren’t movie kids, we weren’t TV kids,” he started.
“If it was daylight you had to be outside playing. ‘We’d go, ‘Why mom, why can’t I just watch 30 minutes of TV?’ She goes, ‘Don’t watch somebody on TV do it for you, get out there and do it for yourself.'”
“Now, this many years later, that’s a pretty good recipe for an actor, to go be the subject of whatever you’re doing, so thank you, mom, for that,” he added.
The 44-year-old went on to thank his wife Camila Alves and their three children, Levi, Vida and Livingston.
