Terrence Howard’s ex ‘threatened him’

Terrence Howard’s ex-wife apparently threatened to kill him and his family.

Yesterday it was reported Michelle Ghent is taking the Iron Man actor to court for “beating her badly” during an argument last week in Costa Rica and is requesting a restraining order.

Now TMZ claims the pair, who divorced in May, had an explosive spat, which ended in Michelle threatening the star.

According to a police report obtained by the website Terrence insists they had a “normal married fight”, which then escalated and ended in Michelle warning the actor his safety was at risk.

She is also supposed to have used pepper spray, attacking him, his kids and son-in-law.

Terrence claims he didn’t touch Michelle and simply told her to stop.

TMZ reports that in today’s hearing threatening messages from Michelle to Terrence will also be exposed.

“An angry Michelle writes, ‘I would start hiding if I were u.’ In another text she writes, ‘Be careful when u leave your place. U should move.’ And in yet another she writes, ‘I know where u and ur family live. Watch yourself (sic),'” the website claims.

Another text apparently reads: “You need to be put down once and for all. I will not stop until all knows who u are. (sic)”

In the police report Terrence reportedly alleges Michelle attempted suicide two months ago and was taken to hospital, where she was diagnosed with paranoia.

Yesterday it emerged that Michelle claims her ex-husband started assaulting her seven days after they got married in 2010.

She says the actor threatened to throw her off a balcony, punched her in the face, was “smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring” and “throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot.”

The latest alleged incident is said to have happened when she took a trip with Terrence’s family to Costa Rica last week.
