Margot Robbie “never thought” she would attend the Oscars.
The 23-year-old Australian actress got the part of a lifetime starring as Leonardo DiCaprio’s wife in Martin’s Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.
And she took to Twitter Sunday, flabbergasted that she was getting ready to walk the red carpet for the first time at the Academy Awards.
“Never thought I’d say this, I’m getting ready for the Oscars!” she wrote.
Margot shared a link to a picture of herself surrounded by her glam squad.
The star is showed beaming as she gets her make-up done while lounging in a robe and holding a coffee mug.
Margot also gave a sneak peek at the new look she would be sporting on the red carpet.
The blonde actress’ locks were a dark shade of brunette in the photo, dyed for her latest movie role, Z for Zachariah, according to MailOnline.
Margot will be attending the Oscars alongside Wolf co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill.
The actors are nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Actor in a Supporting Role, respectively.
The Martin Scorsese film is also nominated for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Margot’s career has surged since she landed her role in the feature.
In addition to talking on war film Z for Zachariah, co-starring Chris and Chiwetel Ejiofor, she has also landed the part of Jane in the forthcoming Tarzan movie, opposite Alexander Skarsgård.
