Sarah Jessica Parker thanked fans for inundating her with birthday wishes on Tuesday.
The former Sex and the City star turned 49 on March 25 and some of her 500,000-plus Twitter followers flocked to the micro-blog to send her their well-wishes.
While Sarah Jessica was tight-lipped about her birthday plans, the star graciously accepted the kind remarks.
“To all who have been sending me birthday greetings, I thank you for all your kind and loving sentiments,” she tweeted.
“I feel very fortunate to be on the receiving end of such good will. &to all celebrating your own today&with me tomorrow my very best… Τhanks everyone, once again. and goodnight. love, sj,” she wrote (sic).
SJP is next set to get to work on coming-of-age comedy Mixtape.
The film, directed by Tom Vaughan, tells the story of a young girl who accidentally destroys her mother’s mixtape and goes on a mission to track down each of the songs from the compilation.
Meanwhile, despite the last Sex and the City movie being released nearly four years ago, the star remains the subject of heavy speculation she might reprise her best known role as fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the hit franchise.
Executive producer Michael Patrick King discussed the possibility of making another film earlier this year.
“Sarah Jessica and I both know what that final chapter is. That doesn’t mean it will or should be told, but I do think there’s one story left,” he said. “Whether it ever happens is a whole other situation. But there’s four girls, and those girls are still in my mind. There are other stories to tell and characters that haven’t even been written yet.”
