Rebel Wilson says awards are the only thing keeping her “warm” this winter.
The comedy actress’ show Super Fun Night is nominated for a People’s Choice Award in the favourite new TV comedy category.
She also has a shot at taking home the favorite actress in a new TV series prize and has begged her fans to think of her single status when casting their votes.
“All my awesome cast and crew would love it if you voted SUPER FUN NIGHT for Best New TV Comedy Series..because then we will all get $5 bonus,” she joked on Twitter.
“Plus, seeing as I have no current love life, awards are the only thing to keep me warm this winter x
“Additionally I had food poisoning today..not that I’m going for the sympathy vote..but I couldn’t eat lunch coz I was spewing x (sic)”
The Australian actress first rose to prominence in 2011’s Bridesmaids and went on to take roles in Pain & Gain and Pitch Perfect.
Rebel can’t believe how much her life has changed in the past few years.
“I love getting nom’d for awards coz the only one I got in school was a Certificate of Participation in the Walkathon #peopleschoice (sic),” she tweeted.
Rebel, 27, faces stiff competition in the favorite actress category, with Allison Janney, Anna Faris, Ming-Na Wen and Sarah Michelle Gellar also nominated.
Super Fun Night is joined in the best new TV category by the likes of Trophy Wife, Mom, The Millers and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The People’s Choice Awards will take place on January 8 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.
