Sheen ‘wants prenup’

Charlie Sheen will “absolutely be getting a prenup” say sources.

The former Two and a Half Men star proposed to porn star Brett Rossi over the weekend, getting down on bended knee during a romantic Valentine’s break in Hawaii.

But seeing as this will be 48-year-old Charlie’s fourth marriage, he knows exactly how to handle the legal side of his upcoming nuptials. And protecting his fortune is reportedly a top priority.

“[Charlie] will absolutely be getting a prenup, just in case,” a source divulged to RadarOnline.

“Once his current FX Show, Anger Management, goes into syndication, he will be earning even more money. The prenup will be very generous for Brett, but Charlie has to protect his finances even though he doesn’t think the agreement will be needed, because he believes Brett is his soul mate.”

Soul mate or not, Charlie has had his fair share of messy divorces.

He split with Brooke Mueller in 2010 after a turbulent few years together, which saw Charlie arrested for attacking Brooke, mother to his four-year-old twins Max and Bob. The divorce was finalized in 2011.

They’ve since gone on to fight a very public custody battle for their young sons, with Brooke being admitted to rehab last year for a reported 20th stay.

“Charlie will be a little more generous with Brett in regards to the prenup, than he was with Brooke,” the source added.

According to the website, Brooke was given a $500,000 marriage signing bonus.

She also supposedly received $300,000 for each year they were married, was given a one-time cash payout of $2.35 million for her share in the actor’s Beverly Hills mansion and $100,000 in relocation fees.

RadarOnline reports she waived her right to spousal support, but was receiving child support until she lost custody of the twins last year.

In total she is thought to have left the marriage with $3.5 million.

Charlie didn’t have a prenup with second wife Denise Richards, but he pays her a reported $55,000 in child support for their daughters, Sam and Lola.

“[Charlie will] pay for Brett’s legal fees as they work out the details of the prenup. For him, this is only a formality. He doesn’t think Brett is after his money. This time, it’s different,” the insider insisted.
