Sheen ‘skips child support payments’

Charlie Sheen has allegedly stopped paying child support payments to his ex-wife.

The Anger Management actor was married to fellow actress Denise Richards for four years, from 2002 to 2006. The couple have two daughters together, Sam, 10, and Lola, eight, but according to a source, Charlie hasn’t paid Denise child support for the last three months.

“As of Wednesday night, Charlie still hadn’t paid Denise… and Charlie still hasn’t paid for February or March either,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online. “In all, Denise is owed $165,000 in back child support.”

Charlie, 48, has previously denied he had missed any payments to Denise via his representative. While the rep confirmed “Your information is correct,” to the website, they remained silent over whether the full amount of $55,000 which was due at that point in the dispute, had been paid.

Charlie’s apparent reluctance to cough up the cash is down to his current fiancée, Brett Rossi, according to reports. The former adult film star is rumored to have ordered Charlie to cut his expenses.

“Brett has taken control of Charlie’s finances and she thinks he wastes huge amounts of money,” the source continued. “She successfully persuaded Charlie to withhold Denise’s child support… Charlie felt he was justified because Denise hasn’t allowed him to see their daughters.”

The former Two and a Half Men star has been locked in the battle over child support with 43-year-old Denise since Christmas. At the time, he hinted over social media he wasn’t happy with the amount he had to pay.

“#TooMuchChild$upport,” he posted on Twitter at the time.
