Scott Eastwood has brushed off his sex symbol status.
The 27-year-old son of Hollywood legend Clint caused an internet sensation last year when photos of his shoot for Town & Country magazine hit the internet and became a viral sensation.
Scott says he didn’t have time to think about it as he was busy shooting action movie Fury in Britain with Brad Pitt.
“I heard some things, but, to be honest, I was in London filming a movie and didn’t pay much attention. These things come and go. No one will remember six months from now,” he humbly told Town & Country when the magazine caught up with him for their Top 50 Bachelors edition.
Being the son of an acting legend could have meant a spoiled upbringing for Scott, but he insists this isn’t the case.
Instead he credits his parents, Clint and mother Jacelyn Reeves, with instilling him with honest values.
“My father taught me not to over-think things, that nothing will ever be perfect, so just keep moving and do your best,” he said. “My mother taught me to be honest, to be selfless, and to touch people in a positive way.”
Scott knows exactly what he wants when it comes to the fairer sex, and that includes a lady who isn’t tied to her phone.
He also wants any potential girlfriends to be independent.
“The kind who’s not afraid to be alone, who leaves her phone at home.”
As well as World War II drama Fury, also co-starring Shia LaBeouf, Scott has two other movies in the pipeline for 2014; Dawn Patrol and Walk of Fame.
