Ronan Farrow slams Woody tribute

Ronan Farrow has slammed the Golden Globes tribute to his father Woody Allen.

Ronan is the biological son of Woody and Mia Farrow but last night hit out on Twitter after Diane Keaton accepted the legendary director’s lifetime achievement award at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Mia and Woody had a 12-year relationship, but split when she found out that Woody was having an affair with her adopted daughter from another marriage, Soon-Yi Previn.

“Missed the Woody Allen tribute – did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?” Ronan posted.

In 1992 Mia’s daughter Dylan claimed Woody had touched her inappropriately. The resulting court case was eventually dropped. Woody went on to marry Soon-Yi Previn.

However Dylan, who has since changed her name, stood by the allegations and spoke to Vanity Fair about them last year.

“I’m scared of [Allen], his image. I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify,” she told the magazine.

Mia also chose to switch off, preferring to watch girls than see her ex being celebrated.

“Time to grab some icecream & switch over to #GIRLS,” she tweeted to her followers, before announcing she was going to bed.

Mia recently claimed that Frank Sinatra could be Ronan’s real father.

However the drama didn’t affect Diane Keaton, who starred with Woody in the 1977 smash hit Annie Hall.

“Woody’s films have been changing the way we think about life, love and the pursuit of neuroses forever,” Diane said while accepting the award for her friend.
