Rebel Wilson: I’m a kick-ass rapper

Rebel Wilson was overjoyed to unleash her rap talents on TV show Super Fun Night.

The Australian funny woman has made no secret of her love for rapping and even has a hip-hop alter ego called Rebelicious.

And it seems the producers of Super Fun Night, a comedy series based on three nerdy female friends who decide to have a good time every Friday evening, decided now was the right time to show off Rebel’s talents.

“I loved filming the ‘Lil Big Kim’ episode because I got to RAP! If I wasn’t an actress, I would’ve loved to have been a kick-ass rapper x, (sic)” she tweeted to her 1.6million followers.

Rebel’s rap skills helped the show scoop one of the top prizes at last night’s People’s Choice Award, where it was named Favorite New TV Comedy.

“It’s a really cool ensemble we have in the show..I’m so proud of all of them x.

“Thank you so much to THE WORLD for voting SUPER FUN NIGHT as the @peopleschoice Best New TV Comedy ..& thanks CBS for not airing the award, (sic)” she added.

Despite her rise to fame in movies such as Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect, Rebel is determined to stay true to herself and her body shape.

The 27-year-old actress doesn’t fit into the stereotypical Hollywood mold and has vowed to stay that way.

She and her Bridesmaids co-star Melissa McCarthy are said to have made a pact to maintain their weight, according to Radar.

“Neither one of them is trying to lose weight and they’ve formed this little support group to keep each other from falling into the skinny Hollywood trap,” a source previously revealed.

And it seems Rebel is staying true to the pledge. She posted a picture of herself tucking into an all-you-can-eat pancake buffet earlier this week.
