Amy Poehler says she’s hosting the Golden Globes “Lord of the Rings style”.
The comedienne is teaming up with pal Tina Fey once again to emcee the 71st annual ceremony next year.
The pair recently confirmed they signed a two-year deal for the gig and Amy claims they plan an epic end to their hosting trilogy in 2015.
“We’re just doing it ‘Lord of the Rings’ style. The comedy rule of three. So, we’ll do [it] three [times],” Amy told Access Hollywood, referring to Peter Jackson’s fantasy feature.
The Parks and Recreation star and 30 Rock creator Tina, 43, won critical acclaim when they first hosted the ceremony last January.
Amy, 42, is already counting down to their next turn at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, although she admits they don’t have their material together just yet.
“Have not even thought that far, I think it’s like 80 something days away,” she laughed.
Amy is currently celebrating making it to the 100th episode of her hit NBC comedy.
She says she’s fortunate to have worked with such a talented team.
“We’ve been lucky enough to work on a show that we really love and to have it last this long and to get to do so many stories, is really, really satisfying and great,” she gushed.
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on January 12 from Beverly Hills.
