Paris Jackson will reportedly enjoy a Hawaiian holiday with her family.
Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe’s 15-year-old daughter has been released for Christmas break from her boarding school in Utah, where she’s been in classes since her alleged suicide attempt in June, according to E! News.
The outlet reports Paris will be flying Saturday to the island state, where she will be joined by brothers Prince and Blanket, her guardian TJ, several of their cousins and bodyguards.
It will reportedly be the first time Paris has left the boarding school since she enrolled this summer.
“The family doesn’t want Paris to spend her entire winter break at home because they don’t want her getting comfortable. The family thinks Paris will try to talk her way into staying home after showing the family she’s gotten better,” a source explained.
Paris will reportedly return to her grandmother Katherine Jackson’s Calabasas, California home after the trip.
As E! reports, Paris’ mother, Debbie, tweeted on her behalf in July, thanking fans for sending positive thoughts.
“My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support,” she wrote. “She is strong like her father.”
Michael Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 after the drug was administered as a sleep aid.
His personal physician, Conrad Murray, was released from jail in October following his conviction for involuntary manslaughter in the singer’s death.
