Hayden Panettiere’s life is too “crazy” for her to make wedding plans at the moment.
The 24-year-old actress is engaged to heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko, 37. She confirmed they are to be married in October following months of speculation, but at the moment they are in no hurry to set a date.
“No. [Our] schedules are so crazy,” she laughed to Access Hollywood, when quizzed on whether she’d started planning.
The Nashville star is still getting used to being a fiancée at the moment and wants to give herself time to adjust. She sees no reason to rush walking down the aisle as she knows she will be with her sportsman beau for the rest of her life.
“But I also feel like it’s a really cool transition to make in a relationship, to let it sink in and to feel out that aspect, when you’ve committed yourself to someone – it’s one step down from the fullest commitment that you can make,” she explained.
While nothing is set in stone at the moment, Hayden and Wladimir have discussed some aspects of their big day. One of their biggest issues is deciding where the event will take place, as they have family all over the world.
“I don’t know [where it will be],” she said. “We’re dealing with Americans, Ukrainians – there’s no convenient place.”
Hayden and Wladimir began dating in 2009 but split two years later. They reunited in January last year and it has been claimed she accepted his proposal just a couple of months later.
“It’s like the 2.0 version,” she previously told Glamour magazine of their romance. “I’ve always had great relationships and stayed really good friends with the guys I’ve dated. It blows my mind sometimes that us getting together has gotten so much attention. It’s like, ‘Really? This is breaking news?'”
