Orlando ‘fighting for Miranda’

Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom has reportedly decided he wants to save his marriage.

Last month, it was announced that the British star and his wife Miranda Kerr had been separated for some time and planned to formalize the split. However soon after the news broke, the pair were seen spending time together with their two-year-old son Flynn. It has been claimed that making the break-up public made Orlando have a change of heart.

“Orlando wants to save their marriage. They have been spending a lot of time together in the past few weeks for the sake of their two-year-old son Flynn, and Orlando now says that he doesn’t want to lose Miranda,” a source told British magazine Grazia.

It has been reported that the couple’s marriage became strained because they rarely saw each other. Orlando has spent most of the past year shooting in South Africa and New Zealand, while Miranda has been primarily based in New York City.

Now it appears the 36-year-old hunk is eager to make up for lost time.

“Orlando seems to blame himself for the fact they’ve been living separate lives over the last year and regrets not making more of an effort to travel with her on modelling assignments,” an insider explained. “He’s promised to scale back his social life and focus on spending more time as a family, which he has been demonstrating this past week.”

Rumors also surfaced that Orlando had formed a bond with his theater co-star Condola Rashad. The pair are starring in a New York theater production of Romeo and Juliet, and Condola has spoken out to quash any suggestions of a romance.

“Orlando and I are co-workers and friends, that’s all,” she said. “The fact anyone thinks anything more I guess means we’ve done a good job portraying passion and love in our performance.

There is speculation that Orlando has cooled his friendship with Condola in the past few weeks, so he can spend more time with Miranda and Flynn. However, the Australian beauty apparently isn’t sure if the relationship can be salvaged.

“Orlando will do anything it takes to convince Miranda it is worth giving their marriage another go,” a source revealed. “Miranda seems to think it might be a little late in the day for Orlando’s bid to save their marriage. Only time will tell if they can work it out.”

Orlando, who married Miranda in 2010, recently said he will always love the 30-year-old model because they are “a family”.
