Lamar Odom has reportedly been sternly warned by prosecutors about his behavior.
The 33-year-old basketball player, who is married to Khloé Kardashian, met with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office today regarding his alleged altercation with a paparazzo last summer, according to E! Online.
The outlet reports while prosecutors have declined to press charges against Lamar for the July 10 incident, the athlete was “admonished” during the meeting.
City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan told the network prosecutors “advised him [Lamar] on how to go forward”.
Recent reports suggest he may be required to enter treatment for anger management, however Frank said any further details about a deal reached during the informal hearing would not be made public.
Lamar still faces a civil suit filed by paparazzo Stefan Saad, who claims the star hit his vehicle with a metal pole and destroyed his camera equipment when he asked the athlete about reports he cheated on Khloé.
The photographer is reportedly seeking at least $565,000 in damages, claiming he suffered from emotional distress and loss of work as a result of the alleged altercation with Lamar. He is also seeking unspecified punitive damages.
The case is pending.
Lamar has been dealt another blow, with reports claiming his estranged wife Khloé is not keen for the couple to get back together.
A source told America’s People magazine that the pair have not reconciled, despite appearing together at a Kanye West concert last week.
“Khloé is very frustrated when it comes to Lamar. The fact that he doesn’t seem to care to shape up makes Khloé act like she is over him,” the insider said.
“Khloé doesn’t know how they’ll ever be a happy, married couple again,” another source added. “She is very hurt that he’s lied to her about being clean. And she’s made it clear that he can’t spend time with her family until he is.”
