Lamar Odom pleads not guilty to DUI, following his arrest in August.
The NBA star was absent from court today, but his lawyer Richard Hutton entered the plea on behalf of his client.
Lamar was pulled over on the Los Angeles’ 101 Freeway on August 30, and reports have since surfaced that he is allegedly suffering with drug addiction.
He was showing “objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated,” according to the police at the time of his arrest.
The 33-year-old sportsman further refused to submit to further chemical tests after his arrest, which in turn lead to the suspension of his driving license for one year, reports Radar.
Lamar was yesterday spotted with his estranged wife Khloé Kardashian for the first time in 129 days.
The pair were photographed together as they visited Khloé’s mom Kris Jenner, following the announcement that she and Bruce Jenner have split.
In a statement released yesterday Kris and Bruce said they are now happier to live separately.
“But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” they explained.
And it is reported Lamar’s four year marriage to Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Khloé is now set to end in divorce.
Radar last week reported that 29-year-old Khloé has been secretly meeting up with her lawyer to draw up divorce papers.
TMZ claimed earlier today that the reality TV star is anxious to end the marriage amidst fears for Lamar’s state of mind.
“If I love u. It’s a deep 4ever love. Ride til the end. Family/friend.Its simply called love. I take it seriously. Dont judge unless u r in it (sic),” Khloé yesterday tweeted.
Lamar is alleged to be fighting an addiction to crack cocaine, Ambien and Oxycontin as well as being accused of being unfaithful.
