Miss Piggy wouldn’t mind “a little slap and tickle” with George Clooney or Bradley Cooper.
The Muppets star’s one true love is Kermit the Frog, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate other A-list males. She was quizzed on who could tempt her, with George, Bradley, One Direction and Zac Efron the names which were thrown into the mix.
“I adore all the men you mentioned, but when push comes to shove, it is Kermit that I truly love,” she told British magazine Glamour. “Of course, before push comes to shove, I don’t mind a little slap and tickle with George or Bradley. As for One Direction, I don’t think it’s fair to choose only one. Why not enjoy them all?”
Miss Piggy’s latest movie is Muppets Most Wanted, but she’s been appearing on screen since the ’70s. It means she’s seen many trends come and go and there are a few modern day ones she just can’t get her head around.
“First, twerking. It’s rude, lewd and the last time I tried it, I broke something. Second, texting. Why must women (and men) constantly be in touch with others on their phone? Don’t they have staff for that? Third, twerxting. Texting while twerking. Not a pretty sight,” she explained.
The star has a reputation as something of a diva and she can understand why. Miss Piggy likes things done quickly and efficiently and has a whole team whose job is to ensure her schedule goes to plan.
It hasn’t always be that way though and the star admits having a few career regrets.
“OK, I don’t like to talk about this, but once on my way up, I was a spokesmodel for bacon,” she whispered. “No, I’m not proud of it. But one does what one must, then moves on and uses that pain to become one of the greatest stars of all time.”
