Melissa McCarthy says her marriage is “kind of easy”.
The 43-year-old Bridesmaids actress has been happily wed to fellow actor Ben Falcone since 2005.
And Melissa believes life with Ben and their two children doesn’t take much effort.
“We met working at the Groundlings Theatre, it’s just kind of easy. I don’t know, I think we do what everybody else does,” she told Closer magazine in a joint interview with her husband.
“I think we do better when we’re all together and we move like a tribe with the kids and we just keep showing up in random states.”
The couple are currently producing comedy Tammy with each other and they also wrote the script together.
Ben feels fortunate to be working with Melissa, as he feels they are able to connect more than ever.
“Movies require traveling and long hours so these were hours we were able to spend together,” the 40-year-old What to Expect When You’re Expecting actor explained.
“It actually created more time for us to spend together.”
The film follows a woman who has just been laid off from her job at a fast food restaurant, before discovering that her husband is having an affair. In response to her personal upheaval Melissa’s character takes a wacky road trip with her lewd, alcoholic and diabetic grandmother.
Tammy, which also stars Susan Sarandon and Dan Aykroyd, will reach theaters in July.
