L’Wren’s funeral ‘moved to West Coast’

L'Wren Scott

L’Wren Scott’s memorial has supposedly been transferred to Los Angeles.

The late fashion designer was found dead in her New York City apartment Monday after she committed suicide.

Her partner of 13 years, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, is currently grieving in California.

And according to the New York Post, he and L’Wren’s older brother, Randall Bambrough, have decided to host the wake and funeral in Los Angeles.

Apparently her body will be transported via airplane this weekend after being housed at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side since Wednesday.

L’Wren was 49 at the time of her death and she had been in a relationship with Mick for 13 years.

The rocker is surrounded by relatives in Los Angeles as he mourns the loss of his love.

His eldest daughter Karis lives in the city and it’s understood his other daughters Jade and Georgia May will be there too.

“Mick will be supported by his whole family after the huge shock. His children were waiting to hear what he wanted to do and as soon as Mick decided to head to LA, they were heading there too,” a source told British newspaper The Sun recently.

“Mick is very close to Karis so will spend a lot of time with her. Jade is heavily pregnant but wanted to be with her dad so is flying over on Friday.

“Georgia will also be there to help Mick through this tough time.”

Mick’s bandmates Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts also offered their condolences and unwavering support.
