L’Wren Scott was laid to rest in a private funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Friends and family of the fashion designer, including boyfriend Mick Jagger, gathered to pay their last respects to the 49-year-old at the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home, reports People magazine.

Reverend Ed Bacon from the All Saints Church in Pasadena, CA apparently led the service, while Mick and L’Wren’s brother Randall Bambrough gave tributes as well.

Mick was surrounded by family members at the funeral, and several of his children made readings. Daughter Jade read Psalm 139, and Karis read a poem. His other children Elizabeth, Georgia, James, and Gabriel were also present. Grandchildren Mazie and Zak also contributed by reading Psalm 23, and L’Wren’s niece Hannah read Shakespeare Sonnet 18.

Long-time Rolling Stones backup singer Bernard Fowler sang Will the Circle Be Unbroken for the service, with Eurythmics star Dave Stewart accompanying him on the guitar.

L’Wren was found dead of an apparent suicide on March 17 in her New York apartment. She left no note. Her death caused shockwaves in the fashion world, with many paying tribute to the highly-acclaimed stylist.

“I’m still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way,” Mick said in a statement at the time. “We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. I will never forget her.”
