Lorde: I’m floating on life

Lorde

Lorde’s fans have her “floating on life”.

The pop sensation turned 17 on November 7 and some of her admirers created a special video to celebrate the occasion.

The Royals hitmaker took to Twitter shortly after watching and revealed she’s simply on cloud nine.

“♥♥♥♥♥♥watching this video my fans made to wish me happy birthday IT’S THE BEST THING EVER I HAVE THE BEST FANS I AM FLOATING ON LIFE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (sic),” she tweeted Friday.

Lorde is deeply impressed by the special features her thoughtful fans included in the video.

Apparently her diehard supporters remixed one of her lesser-known songs, Bravado, from last year’s The Love Club EP, for the piece.

“IT EVEN FEATURES A PIANO COVER OF BRAVADO NAWWW,” Lorde noted.

The New Zealander songstress recently revealed she’s planning on transforming pop music.

While she is now lucky enough to mingle with A-list stars, Lorde – real name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor – still feels there is a lot of work to be done.

“I didn’t expect to be in this world but I think it’s kind of cool. For a long time pop has been this laughable, shameful thing,” she explained to British newspaper The Telegraph.

“But it’s actually gratifying and fun and can unite populations, which I think is incredibly powerful. So hopefully I am showing that pop can be taken seriously… It was a strange thing for me to launch myself into the spotlight. I had always been the shy, bookish girl.”
