Lindsay Lohan is reportedly close to signing a book deal worth $1 million.
The 27-year-old actress has been rumored to be securing a book deal for months.
But according to the latest reports, the Liz & Dick star is closing in on a deal with HarperCollins.
“It’s more or less an autobiography, but she had a minimal number of sample pages,” a publishing source told the New York Post’s Page Six.
The book will see Lindsay write the story of her troubled life, which has seen her be arrested for DUI and six stints in rehab.
Lindsay reportedly kept a journal during her last period in rehab in 2013, and that diary will be the core for her memoir.
As well as her book, the Herbie: Fully Loaded actress has also teased that there could be a reunion of her most popular film, Mean Girls.
“It would be amazing!” Lindsay told Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s The Tonight Show.
“When I saw [screenwriter] Tina [Fey] backstage [during Fallon's inaugural show] and she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion.”
Mean Girls was released ten years ago and is one of Lindsay’s most successful roles in her career, grossing $129 million and quickly amassing a cult following.
Lindsay was also on the show to promote the premiere of her own reality docu-series, which she has reportedly received a $2 million paycheck for.
“It is a television show so they want ratings,” Lindsay revealed. “They picked the first two months after I got back to New York after I had been in treatment. I became really spiritual over this past year and I have been trying to find peace and serenity in my life.”
