Lindsay Lohan ‘not getting in trouble again’

Lindsay Lohan is “doing so well” and is “planning to stay that way”.

The 27-year-old actress left Cliffside Malibu rehab in late July following a court-ordered 90-day treatment program.

Since her exit Lindsay has secured several television gigs and it is said she is committed to keeping the professional offers coming.

Apparently the star appreciates the clarity of mind sobriety has afforded her and she is now reflecting on how best to maintain her abstinent lifestyle.

“Lindsay is doing so well, she’s back in New York City and is trying to figure out where she is going to live and what she is going to do next. But she is clean and sober now and she’s planning to stay that way,” a source told Radar Online.

“Lindsay loves to go out to clubs in New York but this time she’s saying that she’s serious about just working and not getting in trouble again.”

Although Lindsay is reportedly looking for an apartment of her own, she is now staying with family in her native New York, primarily residing with her mother Dina.

Being with loved ones is proving to be a great source of comfort for the actress.

“Lindsay hasn’t finalized any real plans about where she is going to live long term,” the insider detailed. “She likes living on her own but also likes living with Dina. She is enjoying spending time with her family now.”

Lindsay’s post-treatment interview with Oprah Winfrey will air on OWN Network in mid-August.

Oprah is impressed with the star and is convinced she is on the up.

“I just interviewed her [Saturday], and I was deeply moved by her desire to move forward in her life at this time,” the legendary talk host told MTV News. “And I asked her, ‘What’s different about all the other times, ’cause it’s been six times [in rehab] now, so what’s different about this time?’

“I believe the answer. I really do believe that she’s ready.”
