Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a night out with her family and sobriety coach this week.
The actress recently completed a three-month stint in rehab and is believed to be determined to clean up her life. On Monday night, Lindsay went to watch new movie The Conjuring in New York City with her dad Michael, sister Ali, brother Michael Jr. and her sober companion.
After watching the paranormal thriller the group grabbed dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
Lindsay’s mom Dina, who had an acrimonious split from Michael, did not attend the family event.
The 27-year-old star is clearly taking her recovery seriously and has cancelled a trip to Europe to focus on her sobriety, after taking advice from Oprah Winfrey.
After recently interviewing the flame-haired actress, Oprah said Lindsay was “in the best place I’ve ever seen her”.
Lindsay has now found herself a more permanent home in New York, which she will share with her sister.
“Our sources say Lindsay’s trying hard to keep her nose clean – she’s relying on little sis Ali for support, having already moved into her NYC apartment,” reports TMZ.
The star was spotted arriving at a six-storey building in Greenwich Village on Tuesday, looking casual in a pair of grey sweatpants and white T-shirt. Ali had already carried most of her luggage up to their new home by the time Lindsay got there.
The 19-year-old model is believed to have arrived in the city on Monday to help her older sister adapt to sober living.
It has been claimed their apartment also has a room for Lindsay’s advisor to stay in.
“The goal is to have her sober coach live with her full time,” a source told E! News. “Lindsay is taking her recovery very seriously.”
