Lindsay Lohan’s “diva behavior” is reportedly affecting the funding of her upcoming movie.
The 27-year-old actress is set to return to the big screen in thriller film Inconceivable. She and producer Randall Emmett announced the feature at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
However, insiders have claimed Lindsay’s unprofessional antics are causing money problems. It is reportedly so bad that the project may not even begin shooting at all.
“There is currently no date for filming to begin on Lindsay’s Inconceivable… producers are having trouble getting money for the project. There is always the problem of insuring Lindsay for movies. Her diva behavior, not showing up on time, or at times, Lindsay doesn’t even arrive at all. It’s very likely this movie will never get made,” a source told Radar Online.
“The only reason Inconceivable was pitched at Sundance was an attempt to garner interest and create buzz about the project. It didn’t. Lindsay is currently in Europe attempting [to] raise money for the project, but isn’t having any luck.”
These claims follow a report that the number of viewers tuning into Lindsay’s reality show on Oprah Winfrey’s channel OWN have dwindled as it comes to an end. The first episode premiered in the US early last month with 693,184 viewers but numbers dropped, with the second episode losing 24 per cent of watchers, while the finale went down another 25 percent.
During the last episode, Lindsay shocked viewers when she announced she had become pregnant and suffered a miscarriage while filming the program. This news was thought to have worried her former romantic partners, such as 18-year-old Ralph Lauren model Morgan O’Connor.
A source revealed to Radar that the teenager is “serious” about proving he wasn’t the father of Lindsay’s child, while former flame Matt Nordgren was reportedly caught off guard by Lindsay’s declaration.
