Liam Payne has warned Australian fans to be careful after they set up camp in a snake habitat.
The One Direction star is currently down under with the band as part of their 24 dates across the country and New Zealand.
Even when not on stage the singers are constantly mobbed, and Liam was astounded to discover fans were putting themselves in danger near his hotel just to meet the group. Sharing what he saw on Twitter the 20-year-old heartthrob tried to influence the girls to move to a safe place.
“Girls behind the hotel please get out the fields there’s a huge sign saying snake habitat it’s just not worth it someone’s gunna get hurt (sic),” he advised.
After an hour it seems the dedicated females didn’t get the message and remained where they were. In a bid to get them to clear ground Liam took to his page again and made another urgent post.
“Are u not reading what I’m saying its a SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND (sic),” he repeated.
This caring gesture comes after the band – also made up of Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles – ignored tearful fans when they landed at Adelaide airport earlier this week.
After waiting for 13 hours to get a glimpse of their idols loyal followers were left devastated when the group passed by them.
Liam took to his Twitter to defend their move, claiming it wasn’t secure enough for them to stop.
“Sorry we couldn’t stop in the airport they said it wasn’t safe???? great to be in oz tho (sic),” he wrote.
