Lena Dunham was craving “fried bits” throughout the Emmy Awards.
The Girls creator attended the glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles yesterday, where she was nominated in the best comedy series and lead actress in a comedy series categories.
Rather than focusing on winning however, Lena was thinking about her grumbling stomach.
“Seriously can anyone at the Emmy’s bring a nice array of proteins and fried bits to @campsucks and me? Vewwy Hungwy (sic),” she posted on Twitter.
Lena lost out to Modern Family and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in her nominated categories, but definitely won in the style stakes with her gorgeous floral Prada gown.
Photos of the 27-year-old looking amazing are all over the internet, but Lena fought the urge to check herself out.
“If anyone catches me looking at pics of myself at the Emmy’s WHILE at the Emmy’s I’ll have to kill myself to preserve the honor of my family (sic),” she wrote.
Also enjoying the Emmys was New Girl star Zooey Deschanel.
The actress-and-singer took to the stage to help present at the ceremony.
“What fun it was to present at the #Emmys with the best big sister in the world: @emilydeschanel, (sic)” she tweeted.
Providing musical entertainment was country queen Carrie Underwood.
The stunning blonde wowed with a cover of The Beatles classic Yesterday.
“The coolest thing about singing “Yesterday” on the #Emmys is the sweet letter I got from @PaulMcCartney giving me his blessing to sing it! (sic)” she gushed.
