LeAnn Rimes will star in a reality series about her life with Eddie Cibrian.
The couple has been subject of tabloid fodder for years since they married following an illicit affair, which saw the stars divorce their respective spouses.
According to Deadline, LeAnn and Eddie will now put their day-to-day lives on display for a VH1 series tentatively titled LeAnn & Eddie.
“LeAnn & Eddie will chronicle how singer-actress Rimes and actor Cibrian navigate their careers while also co-parenting Eddie’s two sons. It also promises for the duo to poke fun at what it’s like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them,” according to Deadline.
The network has reportedly ordered six half-hour episodes scheduled to begin airing this fall.
LeAnn and Eddie issued a statement on Wednesday confirming the news.
“We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we’re really not,” the couple said.
“We’re thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.”
The singer and her actor husband will serve as executive producers through the banner Country Cuban Productions, alongside veterans at Gurney Productions and Maniac Filmworks and Music.
VH1 President Tom Calderone said he’s looking forward to airing the program, which he promised will offer a dynamic look into the couple’s life together.
“This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like – from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life,” he said.
Eddie shares two sons, Mason and Jake, with ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.
The couple ended their nine-year marriage in 2010 after he met and began romancing LeAnn while working on their 2009 TV movie Northern Lights.
The singer divorced her husband of eight years, Dean Sheremet, in 2010.
She married Eddie in 2011.
