Lea Michele has revealed the name of her new album.
According to Lea, her debut record is called Louder and the first track being released is called Cannonball.
The Glee star made the announcement on Twitter, posting a picture of the artwork for her first single.
“I’VE GOT SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS….. :),” Lea tweeted. “So excited for everyone to hear my first single Cannonball, off my debut album LOUDER!”
Lea goes on to tell fans when the single will be available to buy, and credits Sia Furler with writing Cannonball.
Sia has also written songs for stars such as Madonna, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera.
The album is available for preorder but won’t be released until 2014.
“WRITTEN BY THE AMAZING @sia!#CANNONBALL will be available instantly on Dec 10th with my album preorder!” Lea revealed.
The 27-year-old says one of the songs on the new album was written in honor of boyfriend Cory Monteith, who passed away in July.
According to Lea, the track, called You’re Mine, was added after the album was completed.
“The album was done, and the label said, ‘Do you want to add anything?’ I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t,'” Lea told Elle.
“It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this.”
