Kristen Bell has a “deeper” voice since experiencing pregnancy.
The 33-year-old actress gave birth to her and fiancé Dax Shepard’s daughter Lincoln in March this year.
Kristen voices the part of Anna in upcoming animated film Frozen and claims her sound in the recording studio changed after pregnancy.
“The pregnancy did change my voice. It made it deeper,” she said to PEOPLE. “There were more womanly tones when I did one recording while I was extremely pregnant. After I had the baby, I had to go back and re-record those lines so they matched. There was something different about my voice.”
Kristen says the change in her tone could clearly be heard on the recording. She believes her hormones were to blame.
“There was something more ‘Mommy’ about my voice and we had to fix it. I certainly didn’t intend that, and when you heard it, you couldn’t really place why it was different, but it was,” she continued. “It was one of those hormonal things that happen, I guess.”
The House of Lies star recently proposed to Dax, when the Supreme Court approved gay marriage. The happy couple is revelling in parenthood.
“It is amazing to see [Dax] with her. To have something alive that is part of both of us is a really lovely feeling,” she finished.
In June Kristen told E! News that the duo will simply sign documents when they get hitched instead of walking down the aisle.
“We’re not having a wedding,” she explained. “It’s not a desire of either of ours to have any sort of day of celebration for us. I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper.”
