Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard ‘won’t have wedding’

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are “not having a wedding”.

The actress proposed to the father of her four-month-old daughter Lincoln when the American Supreme Court approved gay marriage recently.

However the duo will simply sign documents when they get hitched instead of walking down the aisle.

“We’re not having a wedding,” the Veronica Mars star told E! News. “It’s not a desire of either of ours to have any sort of day of celebration for us. I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper.”

The couple does not have a date in mind for their legal union.

They think it will take place on the spur of the moment.

“It could be any day,” she confessed. “Honestly, I could go home and we could do it today, there’s no forethought really going into it.

“We do want all of the legal opportunities that come with a binding marriage, especially now that we have a kid. It’s very important, there are a lot of things that you need to make available and have in writing for your kid…Yeah, one of these days though.”

Kristen maintains that she can’t tell whether her “delicious” tot resembles her mother or dad.

As the little one grows she looks more like Dax on some days and like Kristen on others.

“Ooh, it’s like a light switch, I don’t know. I can’t tell yet. It’s really both, but it changes moment to moment,” she revealed.

The 33-year-old thespian next stars as Leigh in The Lifeguard.

In the flick a former valedictorian leaves her reporter job in New York and goes back to her childhood home in Connecticut.

“She gets work as a lifeguard and starts a dangerous relationship with a troubled teenager,” according to IMDb.
