Kris Jenner insists there won’t be animosity between herself and her ex during the holidays.
The Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch split from husband Bruce earlier this year but the former couple have remained friends.
And she insists their relationship isn’t all for show.
“We’re great. He’s great and I’m great and we’re such good friends,” she told People magazine.
Kris also stated she and Bruce have yet to talk divorce.
She did observe, however, that they seem to be getting along better than ever since the separation.
“Sometimes people are just better apart and have better energy,” she said. “We don’t bicker as much. We were starting to sound like some old sitcom from the ’50s. I listened to myself and didn’t like me. Everyone is happier.”
The family will be getting together next week for their annual party at Kris’ Los Angeles home, and Bruce is expected to attend.
The former Olympic athlete recently stopped by the abode just to see how she’s decorated and Kris said they had a great time.
“Bruce came over last night because he just had to see the tree again! It’s really fun. I get so excited during the holidays,” she said this week. “I get excited when he’s coming over. We enjoy seeing each other more now.”
The family will also welcome a new member to their tradition. Kris’ daughter Kim gave birth to her daughter North in June and is expected to attend Christmas Day dinner with fiancé Kanye West.
Kim’s sister, Khloé, recently spilled a few details about their plans to indulge
“At the party the night before, we get caterers and have turkey and all the trimmings. But on Christmas Day we eat beeshee, which is traditional Armenian food,” she told British magazine Grazia. “They are fried pancakes with syrup, honey or sugar. Then we lie around for the rest of the day and eat leftovers.”
