Khloé Kardashian is reportedly giving Lamar Odom the “benefit of the doubt”.
The reality star and her husband are reportedly undergoing marriage counseling following rumors of Lamar’s drug abuse and infidelity.
Despite it being a tough time for the 29-year-old beauty she is said to be hopeful about her spouse, who is trying to overcome his troubles.
“She admits she may seem weak and isn’t sure Lamar will stick to his word, but she’s willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and make this the last chance to prove himself,” an insider told British magazine Closer.
Khloé is said to be feeling pressure from her family to end things, particularly her mother. However, she isn’t letting her relatives get to her.
“Khloé filed divorce papers two weeks ago, but is sick of her family – especially her mom, Kris Jenner, putting pressure on her to end things – she’s told them she’s not ready to give up on Lamar yet,” the source added. “Seeing the papers shocked Lamar and he’s told Khloé he’ll fight for their relationship, he’s clean and will go to therapy.”
Lamar was recently spotted looking “happy and healthy” as he greeted students at the University of Rhode Island during training for a NBA comeback.
“There were swarms of students ditching class and running over to meet him, and he just kept smiling and saying hello to all of his fans. He was personable to everyone, and just had an overall good attitude,” an insider recalled.
